MONSTA X I.M Military Enlistment Date Set for February 2026

The final puzzle piece of MONSTA X's military era is set to be placed. I.M, the group's youngest member, will officially enlist on February 9, 2026, making him the last member to fulfill his mandatory service. According to Starship Entertainment, he'll enter a training center for basic military training before serving as an active-duty soldier in the Army.

On January 12, Starship Entertainment shared the news via the group’s official fan cafe. They confirmed there won't be any separate official events on his enlistment day. To prevent overcrowding and ensure safety, the agency kindly asked fans to refrain from visiting the site. "We ask for fans’ unwavering love and support so that I.M can faithfully carry out his duties and return healthier than ever," the statement read.

Closing the 'Military Hiatus' Chapter

MONSTA X has been navigating the military enlistment cycle since July 2021, starting with the leader Shownu. Since then, every member has completed their service. The group recently celebrated their 10th anniversary with a full lineup comeback following Hyungwon’s discharge in May last year. With I.M’s upcoming enlistment, the group’s temporary hiatus from full activities is expected to be short, as all other members are already done with their duties.
