Systemic Failure in the Yang So Ra Sister Suicide Case

The case involves an aspiring actress, Yang So Ra, who reported being sexually assaulted 40 times by 12 different individuals at a filming site. Despite her bravery, she faced secondary victimization from the police and was pressured to withdraw charges. Tragically, she ended her life in 2009. Six days later, her sister Yang So Jung followed her, overwhelmed by guilt, leading to their father's eventual death from grief.
