XReal has officially unveiled the XReal 1S, an upgraded AR headset that undercuts its predecessors while boosting key internal specs. It's a bold move that positions premium augmented reality within reach of the average consumer.

XReal 1S AR Glasses: Specs, Price, and Features

The standout headline is the price tag. Available now for $449, the XReal 1S is $50 cheaper than the standard XReal One and a massive $200 cheaper than the One Pro. Despite the lower cost, the hardware sees significant improvements in visual fidelity.

The device features a 1200P HD resolution, outperforming the 1080P found in the more expensive models. It also expands the virtual canvas to a staggering 500-inch spatial screen, a huge jump from the 147 inches offered by the base model.

3D Spatial Tech and Design Refresh

Under the hood, the XReal 1S utilizes 3D spatial technology that allows users to convert standard 2D games and videos into immersive 3D experiences. It retains the powerful X1 chip and Native 3DoF (degrees of freedom) for stable spatial anchoring.
