Investigators found that the suspect was wearing a gas mask and carrying a survival knife during the rampage.

The Shizuoka Prefectural Police arrested a 38-year-old man at the scene. He is currently being charged with attempted murder. While police believe he acted alone, his motive remains unclear. Local residents expressed shock, noting that the area is typically quiet and safe.
