He's earned over $21 million on the PGA Tour without a single victory, but now An Byeong-hun—known as Ben—is ready to lead a whole new era. According to Yonhap on Jan. 15, 2026, An has officially left the PGA Tour to captain the rebranded Korean Golf Club in the LIV Golf league.

The 34-year-old veteran replaces Kevin Na as the leader of the squad previously known as Iron Heads Golf Club. An's move comes at a pivotal time for LIV Golf as it seeks to solidify its presence in Asia. Joining him are two fresh faces: Song Young-han, a two-time winner in Japan, and Kim Min-kyu, who boasts three KPGA titles. The team is rounded out by Danny Lee, the only returning member from the previous roster.

An described the transition as a "defining move" for his career, emphasizing LIV Golf's vision as a global force. His pedigree is undeniable; as the son of Olympic table tennis legends, he became the youngest-ever U.S. Amateur winner at age 17 in 2009. LIV Golf CEO Scott O'Neil stated that An’s arrival underscores the tour’s "long-term commitment to the Korean market." The rebranding of the team to Korean Golf Club is a clear attempt to tap into one of the sport's most passionate fanbases. This follows a difficult 2025 season for the team, where they finished last among 13 teams, and Jang Yu-bin was relegated after finishing 53rd in the individual standings.
