Whenever Rudd visits Conan to promote a project, he promises an exclusive clip, only to play a low-budget scene from the 1988 film Mac and Me featuring a boy in a wheelchair flying off a cliff. The prank has become a cornerstone of internet comedy culture over the past two decades.

During a recent episode of the 'Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend' podcast, the Ant-Man star revived the gag once more. While supposedly showing a sneak peek of his new film 'Anaconda', Rudd instead queued up the familiar Mac and Me clip, prompting Conan to brainstorm a morbidly hilarious finale for the bit.

A Miraculous Scan That Isn't

Conan described a scene where he is in a hospital, nearing the end. Rudd would enter with a fictional doctor, claiming that a miracle scan shows the disease is gone. "And then it's going to start to flicker a little bit, and it's going to turn into that clip," Conan explained. He noted that the prank would bring him "a lot of joy" before he passes away.
