李俊錫於21日上午10時抵達位於首爾市中心的特檢辦公室，直到晚間7時40分左右才離開。他在離開時對媒體表示：
「我已誠實地配合調查。關於前總統尹錫悅的部分，我也如實作證。」

調查小組目前正在追查的指控是，李俊錫在2022年國會補選的候選人提名過程中，與時任總統尹錫悅及其夫人金建希合謀干預選舉。當時，李俊錫正擔任執政黨「國民力量黨」（PPP）的黨魁。
檢方懷疑，尹錫悅與金建希為了換取自稱「權力掮客」的明泰均（音譯, Myung Tae-kyun）在2022年總統大選前提供的免費民意調查，而將前國民力量黨議員金映宣（音譯, Kim Young-sun）提名為補選候選人。對於相關指控，李俊錫始終予以否認。
