Michele Reiner Final Email to Inmate Nanon Williams

On December 13, Michele reached out to Nanon Williams, a man serving a life sentence who had become "like family" to the Reiners over the past decade. The Reiners had been vocal advocates for Williams, whose story of conviction at age 17 in 1992 inspired the play 'Lyrics From Lockdown.' In her email, Michele praised a recent performance of the show, telling Williams, "We all said that we can't wait to watch it with you."

Nick Reiner Arrest and Imminent Court Appearance

Suspicion quickly fell on their youngest son, Nick Reiner, who was spotted on surveillance footage at a gas station at 9:00 pm that evening before being arrested at 9:15 pm.

L.A. County District Attorney Nathan Hochman has charged Nick Reiner with two counts of first-degree murder. The charges carry a maximum sentence of life without parole or the death penalty.
