While fans are thrilled to see Jeremy Renner reprise his role as Mike McLusky, the final chapter features a structural shift. Season 5 will consist of eight episodes, a slight reduction from the 10-episode count maintained throughout the first four seasons. Alongside Renner, Edie Falco is expected to return as Warden Nina Hobbs, navigating the precarious truce—or lack thereof—within Kingstown’s walls.

Co-creator Hugh Dillon previously revealed that he and Taylor Sheridan had envisioned a seven-season arc for the show nearly 15 years ago.
