Pascal had a minor role as a maître d' that was ultimately cut from the final film, but his performance left a lasting mark on the lead actors.

Damon recalled sitting down for a scene with Emily Blunt when they both noticed something special. After the director called cut, Blunt turned to Damon and said, "That guy’s really f---ing good." Damon agreed, noting that Pascal brought something incredibly real and natural to a throwaway part.
