On May 17, 2024, she told the Oscar winner that the film "nearly k*lled me," calling Baldoni a "chaotic clown" and claiming his production team behaved like a "cult." She reportedly restructured the script herself and asked Affleck to spare 1 hour and 58 minutes to review her cut of the movie.

Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds, also joined the fray. Reynolds contacted Matt Damon with a "zero-pressure ask" for feedback, describing the set environment as one of the "all-time zingers." Damon responded with a massive show of support, even offering Lively a directing slot at his company, Artists Equity.

Taylor Swift’s 'Corporate Email' Critique

The most surprising revelation involves Taylor Swift. While Swift was supportive, unsealed texts show she felt Lively's communication had become too formal and distant during the feud.
