According to Yonhap, Lee Dong-eun shared her modest roadmap for her debut season on Jan. 9, 2026. After tying for 7th at the LPGA Q-Series in December 2025, where the top 25 secured memberships, she's focused on retaining her card. "I want to give my best and maintain my tour card for next year," Lee told reporters, adding that she's looking forward to playing alongside stars like Nelly Korda.

While she led the Korean tour with an average drive of 261.1 yards, Lee knows the U.S. circuit is a different beast. That distance would have only ranked her 72nd on the LPGA last year. Consequently, her focus has shifted toward course management and putting, rather than relying solely on her strength off the tee.

The Sophomore Slump and New Rivals

Lee isn't alone. Hwang You-min, who won the Lotte Championship in October 2025, also joins the ranks. Meanwhile, Yoon Ina enters her second year seeking redemption. Despite sweeping Korean titles in 2024, Yoon struggled in 2025 with only one top-10 finish in 26 starts. "I didn't play like myself last year," Yoon admitted, vowing to return to her "aggressive golf" style in 2026.
