Directed by Lee Hwan, Project Y follows two friends, Miseon and Kyung (Dokyung), who plan a dangerous heist to steal black money and gold bars in a dazzling yet harsh city. During an interview in Seoul on January 16, Han So-hee revealed that she wasn't normally the type to send DMs to strangers. However, sensing a kinship with Jeon Jong-seo, she took the leap to get closer.

"I felt Jong-seo could perfectly empathize with my situation," Han explained. She expressed admiration for Jeon's acting style and English fluency, noting that she learned much from her co-star's meticulous attention to detail in every scene.

The film has already made waves on the international festival circuit. It held its world premiere at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival and received an official invitation to the 30th Busan International Film Festival. Most notably, it secured the Best Film Award at the 10th London Asian Film Festival, cementing its status as one of the most anticipated thrillers of 2026.
