Wireless charging is finally shedding its reputation for being slow. At CES 2026, Chinese accessory giant Baseus unveiled the Spacemate RD1 Pro, one of the first desktop docks to feature lightning-fast 25W Qi2 magnetic charging. It's a significant leap that bridges the gap between wireless convenience and wired efficiency.

The Spacemate RD1 Pro is marketed as a 15-in-1 docking station, offering a comprehensive suite of ports for power users. According to reports from The Verge, the standout feature is the flip-up magnetic pad on top, which utilizes the Qi2 standard to deliver up to 25W of power. This adjustable design allows users to keep their devices in view while they charge, making it ideal for monitoring notifications or taking video calls at a desk.

Connectivity is equally robust. The dock features two HDMI ports, four USB-C ports, and four USB-A ports. It supports single-monitor output at 4K@120Hz or dual-monitor setups at 4K@60Hz. For data-heavy tasks, it provides up to 10Gbps transfer speeds and includes a 1Gbps Ethernet port alongside UHS-I SD/microSD card slots. Charging for the host laptop is capped at a respectable 100W PD.
