LeBrock stepped onto the red carpet for the Vanderpump Foundation Dog Gala, a charity event hosted by 'Real Housewives' alum Lisa Vanderpump. Dressed in a tailored blazer, leather pants, and cowboy boots emblazoned with her initials, her appearance was a surprise. For years, she has rarely left her ranch in Santa Ynez, Calif., about a three-hour drive from Los Angeles.

"I don't really go out anymore. I'm sort of a bit of a recluse, but I like it like that," LeBrock told The Daily Mail at the event. "I gave up diamonds for dirt, and I have a big ranch that I have horses and cattle and dogs and chickens, and I take care of it myself." She's lived on the compound for 35 years.

The 'Ugly' Divorce That Sparked an Exodus

Her retreat from public life was prompted by her divorce from action star Steven Seagal in 1994. In a 2013 interview with The Daily Mail, she recalled, "When I split with Steven, the divorce was very ugly, and details of the case were on the evening news." To protect her three children from the media scrutiny, she explained, "I simply got rid of the TV. I moved my kids out of L.A. so they could grow up with real people."

LeBrock began her career as a model and became the face of Christian Dior before being cast in her breakout roles. In both 'The Woman in Red' and 'Weird Science,' she played the idealized 'perfect woman,' cementing her status as an 80s icon. However, she appeared in only a handful of films afterward before her flight from Hollywood.
