The allegations stem from Busfield's time on the set of the Fox series 'The Cleaning Lady', where he served as both a director and executive producer. Two child actors, who are twin brothers, alleged that Busfield inappropriately touched them between 2022 and 2024. One of the children claimed the director rubbed his genitals and touched his buttocks during filming takes.

Studio Cooperation and Previous Allegations

Warner Bros. Television released a statement emphasizing that the safety of minors is their "top priority" and they're fully cooperating with law enforcement. Busfield, however, has denied the claims. During his interview with investigators, he suggested the parents were seeking "revenge" for the show's cancellation. The warrant also revealed that Busfield faced two prior accusations of sexual assault in 1994 and another instance that was not prosecuted due to slim evidence.
