According to reports from Gizmochina and Mashable, the SQD technology utilizes a single-chip pure white light source. This differs from the true RGB sources found in the latest displays from Samsung and LG. The goal's to deliver the ultra-high peak brightness of Mini LED while achieving the pristine contrast of OLED simultaneously. A TCL representative stated they believe the X11L can compete head-to-head with any flagship on the market today.
