B-Free Sentenced to 16 Months Following 2024 Incident

The legal battle stems from a violent encounter in June 2024. According to Sports Seoul, B-Free was involved in a confrontation with a resident at a Seoul apartment complex after being asked to stop honking his motorcycle. The altercation turned physical, resulting in the victim suffering severe injuries, including facial fractures and traumatic optic neuropathy.

Medical experts noted that the victim required 8 weeks of treatment and may face a permanent visual field defect. The Seoul High Court stated that the defendant's conduct was "highly blameworthy" and that severe punishment was unavoidable given the permanent nature of the victim's injuries.

B-Free first drew the ire of global fans in 2013 when he insulted BTS during a broadcast.
