A record-breaking 150 dogs from 72 shelters across the U.S. and the Caribbean are set to compete. Defending champions Team Fluff will face off against Team Ruff in a three-hour spectacular on Super Bowl Sunday.

The 2026 edition puts a significant spotlight on inclusivity. The lineup includes 15 special needs dogs, such as Wynonna, a three-legged pup, and Eleanor, who is both deaf and vision-impaired. For the first time, senior dogs will also get their moment of glory in the 'Pro-Dog Halftime Showdown,' featuring Team Oldies and Team Goldies.

Event Schedule and Viewing Details

Fan-favorite referee Dan Schachner returns for his 15th year. The broadcast will also feature celebrity cameos, including the Buffalo Bills' Khalil Shakir, ensuring that this year's adoption drive reaches the widest possible audience.
