A former reality TV star's scandalous television past has been eclipsed by deeply disturbing criminal allegations. Tony McCollister, a cast member of the short-lived 2015 A&E series "Neighbors With Benefits," was taken into custody in late December for crimes involving a minor and animals.

According to reports from WLWT News 5, court documents allege that McCollister uploaded child sex abuse imagery to his Google account and engaged in sexual activity with his own dogs. The 43-year-old faces a felony charge for the child obscenity and a misdemeanor for the animal misconduct. If convicted of the felony, he could face up to 8 years in prison and a fine of $15,000.

McCollister was arraigned on Dec. 29, where a judge ordered him to have no contact with children or pets. He's currently being held on a $250,000 cash-only bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for today, Dec. 30.

The show, which followed swinger couples in a suburban community, was pulled off the air after only 2 episodes in 2015.
