From corporate cubicles to the Castle of Grayskull, the power is returning. Amazon MGM Studios just dropped the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Masters of the Universe movie, and it's everything fans of the 1980s classic could hope for.

The trailer introduces us to a young Prince Adam, played by Nicholas Galitzine, who has been living on Earth under the alias Adam Glenn. Working a mundane corporate job, he's haunted by drawings of a sword he doesn't fully understand—until he's reunited with the Sword of Grayskull. His transformation into He-Man sets the stage for a cosmic battle to save his home planet, Eternia.

Joining him in this journey are Camila Mendes as Teela and Idris Elba as Duncan (Man-At-Arms). But the biggest reveal is Jared Leto as the menacing Skeletor. Directed by Travis Knight, known for Bumblebee, the film promises a blend of high-stakes action and heartfelt character development.

Reviving a 45-Year Legacy

According to Entertainment Weekly, the film honors the franchise's roots which began 45 years ago. This isn't the first time He-Man has graced the big screen; a live-action version debuted in 1987, but this new iteration aims for a grander scale. Fans can catch the action in theaters starting June 5.
