The conflict intensifies at the start of Season 2 following the death of Tommy’s mother, Dorothy. Tommy's ex-wife Angela (Ali Larter) throws a curveball by moving T.L. into their already crowded home. It’s a shock that puts Tommy in a whirlwind of "Norris chaos," alongside his kids, his attorney, and his petroleum engineer.

Elliott notes that T.L. has a significant arc this season, moving from a low point to a chance at healing.
