Latest leaks suggest the tech giant is ditching the centered Dynamic Island in favor of a small punch-hole cutout tucked into the top-left corner of the display.

The iPhone 18 Pro Camera and Under-Display Face ID

According to a report from The Information, Apple is preparing to introduce under-display Face ID for the iPhone 18 Pro models. This technology allows the TrueDepth sensors to sit invisibly beneath the screen, leaving only the selfie camera visible. This move eliminates the need for the large, pill-shaped cutout that has defined the iPhone's face since the iPhone 14 Pro.

Leaker Digital Chat Station claims that this new top-left punch-hole will be exclusive to the Pro models. Meanwhile, the standard iPhone 18 models are expected to stick with the existing centered Dynamic Island design for at least another generation.
