For the first time, Beijing deployed the Type 075 amphibious assault ship, a vessel capable of launching attack helicopters and armored vehicles simultaneously, signaling a shift toward integrated containment.

The Taiwan Strait is a critical artery for global trade, with $2.45 trillion in goods passing through annually. While 11 out of 14 flight routes were affected, international disruption remained minimal as carriers rerouted toward Japan. Meanwhile, a Pentagon report suggests China aims for full combat readiness for a Taiwan scenario by 2027.
